'I'm fully all in with Bayern' - Kane cools on Premier League return

Kane achieves his 100th goal for Bayern Munich

Harry Kane has declared that his interest in coming back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to negotiate a new contract with Bayern Munich.

The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year contract he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the transfer window of 2023.

The veteran forward has scored an impressive 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which marked the first significant achievement of his distinguished career.

Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would be pleased to see Kane return to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring feat of 260.

However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as enthusiastic about coming back home as he once was, and would certainly consider lengthening his stay in Bavaria.

"In terms of staying longer, I could definitely see that," he remarked.

"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those discussions with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be open to talk and have an frank conversation.

"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so goes and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not thinking about anything else.

"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.

"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.

"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am fully all in with Bayern."

Milestone Achievements and Future Ambitions

Kane is the record top scorer for both Tottenham and England and recently became the speediest player this century to achieve 100 goals for a club competing in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.

However, a trophy had escaped him until he secured the German title last season.

Kane states that he was not sure how he would feel after overcoming his trophy wait, but now feels it has made him motivated for more success.

"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.

"But it's given me more drive to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.

"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.

"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.

"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
